M CF stands for Merlot and Cabernet Franc a blend (around 44% Merlot 56% Cabernet Franc here) from Mariana's Vineyard, the same high elevation site that produces his nervy Chardonnay. The cool air and shallow soils give the wine a Loire meets Saint Emilion shape: graphite, crushed herbs, sour cherry brightness, and silky tannins. Native yeast, whole cluster portion,
